Play Path of Giants

Path of Giants
by Journey Bound Games Inc.
Released: Aug 27
$3.99

Path of Giants may look like a Monument Valley clone, but it very much isn’t. It’s a puzzle game in a class of its own that strikes a near-perfect balance of challenge and accessibility.

Why you should play it

Frustration-free puzzlers are rare, but this is one of them. Path of Giants seems to operate by the mantra “if you try you will succeed.” which allows you to spend almost any amount of time with it and make progress. It also has great accessibility options, including a super-convenient undo button and a tool for re-coloring your characters.

Why you might not play it

Path of Giants falls within a category of puzzler that is far too common on mobile. Monument Valley, Where Shadows Slumber, Very Little Nightmares, etc. You may have had your fill of this kind of game or see Path of Giants as a bit of an old hat. I thought the same thing until I played it. Now, Path of Giants is my favorite traversal puzzler on mobile.
